P90X - Day Three
So far so good, I’m done with three days of getting up before 6:00am and doing my P90X workout. Today was Arms and Shoulders. This was another one that I am fairly decent at. I was able to do all the exercise with a reasonable amount of weight.
We did a lot shoulder presses, curls, dips, other kinds of curls, triceps extensions and kickbacks and a bunch of other stuff I can’t remember at this time.
I am pleased with how the workouts are going. I have a nice residual soreness from Tuesday’s chest and back workout and my legs got sore from yesterday’s plyometrics workout. I forgot how much I missed the slight soreness that lets you know you did a nice hard workout.
I found it very amusing that I am more sore this morning in my legs from yesterday’s plyometrics workout that I was after Saturday’s marathon. It just goes to show you that your body really does adapt to whatever you do most frequently, and it makes me happy to know the p90X is working out different muscles and should be making me overall stronger. Bring on the additional soreness.
