Happy New Year
Happy new year everyone. We’re back from New Mexico where we got in some good sledding, some average skiing, and lots of snow ball fights. You can see in the above picture the huge incoming snowball that just snuck into the photo.
We’re packing up and heading to the airport for the first marathon of the year: Running From an Angel Marathon outside of Las Vegas. It will be a nice hilly race to start the year off. This will be state #46 for me, which after this weekend will leave the following states:
- Georgia
- Tennessee
- Rhode Island
- Vermont
The first two I will pick up in March and the last two in May. So if all goes well, by the end of May I will have completed the 50 States.
But not wanting to get ahead of myself I am concentrating on finishing the race this weekend, as it is, as I said before, quite hilly:

good luck. i did a half around lake mead to hoover dam which was lots of fun last march and we are planning on doing it again. it is beautiful. good luck!

Well, four after I finish tomorrow
