I’m back, did you miss me?

Well, it has been more than a week since I last updated both of my fans as to what is happening in my attempt to not drown while doing Ironman Coeur d’Alene next Sunday. Last week was pretty easy from a running and swimming perspective (meaning I didn’t do much of either), but I did get on the bike for 98 miles. Now before you get all excited and think I have had a new long ride, I didn’t. Those 98 miles were covered in four sessions (33, 16, 16, 33) and I did get back into the pool for one more half mile swim, but I talked about that two posts ago.
So what did my week look like last week?
| Day | Workout |
| Monday | .5 mile swim @ 17:25 |
| Tuesday | 16 mile bike @ 17.1 MPH 3 mile run @ 7:30/M pace |
| Wednesday | 16 mile bike @ 17.6 MPH 2.5 mile run @7:50/M pace |
| Thursday | 33 mile bike @ 17.3 MPH |
| Friday | 3 mile run @ 7:23/M pace |
| Saturday | 33 mile bike @ 17.7 MPH 3 mile run @7:24/M pace |
| Sunday | 1.25 mile run @ 7:15/M pace |
So weekly totals are:
Swimming: .5 miles
Running: 12.75 miles
Biking: 98 miles
My friend Corey May took my bike on Sunday to drive to Idaho for the race. Corey managed to fit 6 bikes into or on top his Dodge Magnum and began the roughly 2100 mile drive Sunday afternoon. My bike join several other faster people’s bikes, so I am hoping during the long drive they will have a lot to talk about and my bike will get faster, or at least more motivated.
This Sunday is Ironman, and I am bib #445, so you can track me on IronmanLive.com come race day.
