I seemed to have leveled off


I got into the pool again this morning, for my .5 mile swim. This makes my 5th time in the pool. Which now means I have actually covered the distance I need to cover in the Ironman, it just took my 5 workouts to do it.While I technically was faster this time, it wasn’t by much. For both of you keeping track, here are my five swim times:

18:23
17:33
17:25

If I did this in the course of the actual race my finish time would be: 1:35:09. Which is about 5 minutes slower than I was actually hoping to go in the race but probably faster than I have any reason to believe I can go. Two weeks from now we’ll know assuming I don’t drown.
